In order to achieve optimum therapeutic success, your horse is given high-quality, steamed hay. In addition, your horse can be given supplementary feed to accompany the clinical picture. This shortens the healing phase and gives the body optimum conditions for rapid regeneration. If blood counts are available, these will be taken into account.
From July 1, 2023, together with the NEWSTONE KÖHL RANCH, I will be offering an overall concept for the rehabilitation of horses after an accident or illness, which will support an optimal healing process with rehabilitation treatments depending on the diagnosis and healing time. After approval by the attending veterinarian or the equine clinic, systematic rehabilitation training by one of the trainers on site is possible. The rehabilitation measures can be continued in parallel in order to optimally support the respective tissue and prevent regression.
We are the right people to contact for problems in the tendon and ligament area, muscle fiber tears and fetlock lesions. In the area of bony structures, we can support your horse with fractures, fissures, arthrosis, bone edema and cartilage damage.
At the Newstone Köhl Ranch we offer individual accommodation especially for western horses:
- Closed boxes, paddock or outdoor boxes
- Sawdust bedding
- Hay and concentrated feed 3 times a day
- Mucking out 2 times a day
- Paddock or walker walk after consultation
- Training by professional trainers
